I am a regular at POP+BARK events and was thrilled to see a new event for beautiful Samoyeds.
I arrived early and the venue The Happenstance is directly opposite a Starbucks so it was like being in heaven for me to have coffee in there and watch the goings-on across the way and see the first Samoyeds arriving and coming into the Starbucks!
At these events you definitely get a feel for the temperament of the breed. This was the most boisterous of the events I’ve been to! Samoyeds are friendly, outgoing, active and vocal.
They take their name from the Samoyedic peoples of Siberia where they assisted with herding, hunting, protection and sled-pulling, and they are known to be used in Arctic and Antarctic expeditions.
Rudi’s The Doggy Bakery (yes these are for dogs!) had made some Easter specials.
And of course there was the puppuccino bar.
